Professional Trainings on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
180's Staff provide informational and sensitivity trainings for professionals in the county, to help them better understand
and respond more sensitively and effectively to domestic violence, relationship abuse and sexual assault victims. Recipients
of such trainings include medical staff at area hospitals, school nurses, municipal and state police, social services staff,
and first-responders at the Navel Weapons Station Earle.

Drug-Facilitated Sexual Assault Education Project
Educational program for law enforcement and prosecution on how to identify and
investigate drug-facilitated sexual assault; and/or other professionals,
parents and adolescents on the prevalence and dynamics of drug-facilitated
sexual assault and on preventive measures. To arrange for a presentation or

Community Presentations
Staff and volunteers participate in hundreds of newspaper, TV/cable, and radio
interviews, as well as speaking engagements at civic and religious clubs and
organizations throughout the County. Topics discussed generally focus on 180 services,
raising public awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault, and program
and client needs.
